LankaBangla officials pay courtesy call on new BSEC chairman

Capital market stakeholders exchange views on sector development

TBT DESK: Senior officials of LankaBangla Capital Market paid a courtesy call on newly appointed Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Chairman Masud Khan and extended their congratulations following his appointment.

The delegation was led by Mohammad Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Managing Director of LankaBangla Capital Market, who conveyed best wishes to the new chairman on behalf of the organisation.

Among those present at the meeting were Khandaker Saffat Reza, Chief Executive Officer and Director of LankaBangla Securities PLC; Khairunnesa, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary; Iftekhar Alam, Chief Executive Officer of LankaBangla Investment Limited; and Md Simon Ibne Mujib, Chief Executive Officer of LankaBangla Asset Management Limited, alongside other senior officials.

The meeting reflected ongoing engagement between market participants and the securities regulator as the new BSEC leadership begins its tenure with a focus on strengthening investor confidence, market governance and sustainable capital market development.
