Playwright Rajib Moni Das has penned a thought-provoking new play titled “Niyoti”, which delves into the intricacies of human destiny and the unpredictable turns life can take. Directed by NazninHasan Khan, the shooting for the drama has already been completed at various locations in Ulukhola, Kaliganj, Gazipur, a press release said.
The play features a talented ensemble cast, including Shibli Nauman, Jannatun Noor Moon, Masud Mohiuddin, Saika Ahmed, Farid Hossain, Snigdha Hossain, Subrata Chakrabati, and others, who bring a diverse range of characters to life.
Reflecting on the themes of “Niyoti”, playwright RajibMoni Das shared, “Not everything always happens as you wish. Whatever happens is destiny. And in the story of such destiny, there are various calculations of human life. These calculations sometimes align, and sometimes, they don’t.”
Director NazninHasan Khan elaborated on the play’s exploration of relationships, saying, “No one knows in advance what will happen in human destiny. In certain cases, people blame each other, although the story behind it is different. Just as one cannot live under the same roof if one is not compatible, incompatible relationships sometimes miraculously become compatible. Niyoti portrays such a journey.”
“Niyoti” will soon be airing on a private television channel, offering viewers an introspective look at the complexities of life and destiny.
