Three news outlets have raised concerns about the students’ future. The headline in the national daily on August 21- (1) Coronavirus test has been reduced but the identification has increased. Death 41, (2) Prevention of corona infection. We know that all the educational institutions of the country have been closed since March 16. Although the date of HSC and equivalent examinations was fixed in April, it was not possible to take the examinations as the educational institutions were closed due to corona. What will happen to the students in this situation?

Newspapers are writing that the corona vaccine will not be available before December. It may take more time to get the vaccine in our country. The timing is uncertain. I saw in the second news and in the meantime the coronavirus test has decreased in the country but the detection has increased. There are also fears that it will increase. Education Minister Dr. DipuMoni said that due to the coronavirus situation, the environment has not yet been conducive for the opening of educational institutions. No one knows when it will happen. He said, ‘If a favorable environment is created, the test will be taken within 15 days. Is it uncertain when? Needless to say, all the students, especially the HSC candidates, are under human pressure. Examination on the one hand and admission on the other. Half a year is passing like this. Students turn the corner of life after HSC. This time is much more important for them too.

Those who are thinking of pursuing higher education abroad are in even greater crisis. They may not be able to keep pace with the season. Although auto promotion is given in many countries due to the Corona crisis, it is unclear why it is not being done in our country. If auto-promotion,
students could prepare for admission in higher education. Will you prepare for the exam or will you prepare for admission? Which one?
It has become urgent to release 1.4 million students and their parents from such human pressure.

If the situation is a little better, the government should think about the decision of the Ministry of Education to take HSC exams in a limited way. The Education Minister has also recently made a statement in this regard. The minister later said, “Students’ lives are worth more than exams. Examinations are not the last word in education. Not everything will end in a year. “We are very pleased with the remarks of the Education Minister. However, the limited examination brought to the attention of the government is a matter of panic! Moreover, the timing is uncertain. How much time do students have to spend in this way? How much will they match during the preparation for higher education?

In case of HSC examination, taking less number of exams, increasing the number of examination centers, what will stand? About 14 lakh candidates are taking part in the HSC examination this time. No matter what the test, this number of candidates will have to go out at the same time to take the test. There will be 1/2 more guardians with the examinees. For the security of the test center, half a crore people will gather on the day of the test with at least members of the law enforcement force, teachers and officials of the center. The question is how 14 lakh students will go to the center? Of course with no transportation added. The possibility of students and parents getting infected with corona while boarding the transport remains. After that, most of the students and parents have to be considered unconscious in the context of Bangladesh. Enough about how much social distance they can maintain with friends when they come to take exams. The question remains. Will parents be able to maintain social distance at this time? There is no question. So many examinees who have been maintaining security at home for so long may be affected by corona, but this is normal.

Who will take the responsibility if the students or parents are not affected? But the people will surely blame the government for this. Then there will be adverse reactions through social media. The image of the government will be utterly ruined! But we know a lot about how social media is propagated in our country. The incident of humiliating all the people’s representatives of the country through social media is a thing of the past due to a few swindlers and relief thieves. The Padma Bridge is covered with blood and headaches, but the propaganda has been done through Facebook and YouTube. It was seen that even if a student dies due to any reason other than the corona virus, a class of people will want to take it in stride and make the government angry.

Moreover, it can be said for sure that so many students, parents, teachers, law enforcement people will not gather in the gathering. The question is why the government can take the risk. If that happened then the government would have to pay a lot more. What needs to be done for this? We are getting news that Auto Promotion is being given during the advanced period. In Asia, Malaysia and even neighboring India have announced auto-promotion at school, college and university level. Many countries, including Singapore and Canada, are trying to accelerate education through auto-promotion. In the first week of July, I saw in several newspapers in India, including NDTV and Anandabazar, that the Rajasthan government had decided not to take all college and university exams for this year in the Corona situation.

However, these students will be promoted to the next stage without examination. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said the state government has decided to cancel all exams for this year due to the Corona epidemic. He said that all the students would be passed without examination and they would be scored as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Education in the next few days. In this case, where is the problem in our country in auto promotion? In case of HSC exam results, there may be auto-promotion in HSC. If not, the results of PSC and JSC can also be considered. What is the profit or loss of auto promotion?

This can result in only very small lovelocks for 8 to 10% student results. No harm done. For example, in the case of exams, those who scored below this grade may get this grade because of the previous results. Besides, even if they had A grade in SSC, but they could have got A +, there would be some loss for such a student. However, the amount will be very low. It can be worn by a small number of examinees at some profit loss. In times of crisis, but a little bit of such a problem must be accepted. Moreover, there is no epidemic crisis but a global crisis. While many countries are thinking like this, Bangladesh should also think like that.

In most cases the results will not be much of a difference. Unable to take the exam, the HSC candidates are in extreme anxiety. On the one hand, the exam, on the other hand, the preparation for admission seems to be random.

Auto promotion will reduce the uncertain thoughts of the students. Mental turmoil will go away. The biggest benefit is that they can be ready for the future. After passing HSC, but one student also turned his life around. In such a situation, 14 lakh students of the country are in a crisis. Now the exam will think or prepare for admission. Once the auto promotion is done, they will be ready for admission. But it is not that the Corona crisis will go away suddenly. We do not see such signs. So, if the students are given auto-promotion thinking about the future, they can start new ideas. Be able to prepare for admission.

Admission is also a matter of thought after the government. This can be done in any way. It doesn’t happen that everything will stop during the Corona crisis. Moreover, if this epidemic could be considered temporary, then maybe there was nothing to wait for. It is uncertain when the country or the world will be free from the Corona crisis. In this case, if there is auto promotion in HSC, then many people are wondering what will happen to the admission.

Some may say that the semester is on in other countries. Such a thought can be thought of later. At least HSC should be acquitted. But these examinees are under a lot of human pressure. What will happen? When will the test be? When to prepare for the admission test. What will be the admission? Many questions are ringing in my head. As a result, they are becoming humanly ill. The matter needs to be taken into consideration by the government. In a virtual seminar titled ‘ Challenges of Education in Corona and What to Do to Pass’ organized by Bangladesh (IRAB) on June 26, the Minister of Education said that there are plans to reduce the number of HSC exams stuck for corona virus and take them in less time. DipuMoni. The education minister said, ‘There is no reason to reduce the syllabus of this year’s HSC.

Because they have completed their syllabus. Maybe now that public exams will be taken and so many millions of families, so many members of the law enforcement force, so many people in the administration, so many teachers – everyone will be put at risk? ‘So can we do that in less time? Can I take a small number of tests or not? We are thinking of everything. ‘Regarding when the examination will be held, the Education Minister said, ‘This examination will be taken 15 days after the education situation becomes favorable. Hon’ble Minister, students, parents, administration people and teachers have to go out at the same time no matter how many exams are taken and how many more exams are taken. Written test means but the question of leaving the house. Isn’t the risk the same?

As we have seen, most of the people in this country do not pay much attention to the rules and regulations. During the Corona crisis, the government has given some instructions in the interest of public health security. In order to ensure that the journey of life does not come to a complete halt, business, public transport and office courts have been kept open on a limited scale. What country are we in? There is no such thing as a limited size in this country. That’s how it goes.

The people of China do not follow the instructions of the government. Abad and disobedience to hygiene rules seems to have become our habit. This is our condition. In this situation, the government should think about how safe the students can be when they go to take the exam.

We know that the health awareness of the people of our country is very low. They have behaved irrationally. Corona has ravaged all social systems in the world. In our country, the deficit of our moral and human values is constantly becoming apparent. The child is leaving his mother in the forest. The father is not able to hold his corona-infected child in his arms.

How logical it is to think about the test in such a situation. Apart from this, there is also the issue of exemption from the test of the examinee.
Not that they were excluded from taking any lessons. At the end of all the preparations, the corona virus stopped at the time when they could go for the test. They have studied for the last two years and have passed the college examinations. In this case, what is the harm if auto promotion. Moreover, if the test is taken, it is not sudden. Such delays are sure to cause extreme loss to the students as well. There was an expectation that the Ministry of Education and the state would think about the matter.
