Premier Division Handball League kicks off Saturday

DHAKA – The Cute Premier Division Handball League will kick off on Saturday (July 21) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.

Awami League Youth and Sports Affairs Secretary Harun-Ur Rashid will inaugurate the function as the chief guest while Moushumi Industries (Cute) Limited chairman Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal as special guest.

Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) president Nurul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the opening ceremony.

A total of ten clubs will take part in the league, which is sponsored by Moushum Industries Limited and organized by BHF.

In this regards, a press conference was held on Thursday at Bangladesh Olympic Association auditorium to provide all the details of the meet.

BHF general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Moushumi Industries Limited chairman Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal, league committee’s chairman Dhaka Metropolis Deputy Police Commissioner (Force and Welfare) ABM Masud Hossain, league committee’s vice chairman and ADC Motijheel AM Shibli Noman and tournament committee’s secretary Jahangir Hossain, were present in the press conference.

Participating clubs: Narinda Pragati Boys Club, Prime Sporting Club, Dhaka Mariners Young Club, Arambagh Krira Sangha, Menjis Krira Chaka, Bangla Club, Surjoday, Krira Chakra, Victoria Sporting Club, Old Ideals and Uantam Foundation.
