DHAKA,- The U-21 hockey team’s open trial for the Junior Asia Cup in Bangladesh begins tomorrow (Friday) at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.

To create a pool of players for the national hockey team, only selected 51 players from recently concluded second division hockey league will take part
in the trial which will continue till August 7.

Last month Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) in its executive committee meeting gave the green signal to Bangladesh Hockey Federation’s proposal to
host Bangladesh Champions Trophy and Junior Asia Cup Hockey in a suitable time next year.
