Many obstacles arise when a woman wants to become a leader, especially when it comes to business and entrepreneurship. Because in a patriarchal society, the way the women entrepreneurs are oppressed and demotivated, it is nearly impossible to stand up against the tide.
“My goal will be fulfilled the day I will be able to accommodate jobs for a million people”- this aspiring entrepreneur Binthey Naim expressed her wishful thinking this way.
Binney is a proud owner of a clothing page named Reliance, full name ‘RBD.Reliance-রিলায়েন্স’, from where she promotes ethnicity, not compromising comfort. Her inspiration came from all the appraisals that came her way every now and then; whenever she dolled herself up with ethnic wear or even casual, traditional wear, she did.
Her close ones used to ask her to get the same for them, which sparked an idea inside her. “Why not make a platform to promote fashionable deshi wears?” – Binthey thought to herself. There was no looking back from them.
Though Binthey Naim is a dentist by profession, she wanted to be independent, keeping in mind to give jobs to the rootless people and serve society on the other hand. She is also a graduate from BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) in Fashion Designing.
One of the things that satisfy Binthey is to spread her passion for deshi wear to other women who, otherwise, are into western wear. She wants to inject the positivity of ethnic wear that feels comfortable and slays in style. And currently, she’s working with the brand she started to wear in her teenage years.
When talking about the struggles of women entrepreneurs, Binthey sees it as yet another challenge to overcome. She had to cross it through sheer determination. She inspires other women entrepreneurs to stick to their passion and never let go just because people talk behind their backs.
Measuring her success is something she wishes to leave to her admirers. But one thing that keeps her going is to provide bread for people working under her supervision. After all, this is what inspires her every day to build a strong community of people to whom she can contribute their livelihoods.
Binthey Naim tells a story of freedom, independence, community service, and women empowerment. With the passion she had since her childhood, she was able to make her own business and spread it across the country. ‘RBD.Reliance-রিলায়েন্স’ is now trying to be a reliable clothing brand for women all over the world and spread ethnicity everywhere.
