ISAME Forum of Lions International begins in Dhaka

4 days long 51stISAME Forum 2023, Dhaka of Lions International will be held at InterContinental Dhaka on 15-18 December 2023. Each year the “India, South Asia, and the Middle East (ISAME) Forum” is held in different multiple districts in different ISAME countries where lions conglomerate at the same place to foster friendship and fellowship, exchange ideas and plan for future programs.More than 800 delegates from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, the Middle East, and Africa, and 350 delegates from Bangladesh are attending the program. Multiple District 315, Bangladesh got the opportunity to host this event after 20 years.

The Lions International has consultative status with the UN, and it is the largest voluntary service organization in the world since 1917, spread over 210 Countries with 1.4 million Lions and Leos working together for communities in need. In India, South Asia, and the Middle East (ISAME), many Lions and Leos work together for the same cause.

Honorable Speaker of Bangladesh National Parliament DrShirinSharminChaudhury MP will be attending our Forum as Chief Guest at this Inaugural Session on 15th December. Lions International President Dr. Patti Hill, LCIF Chairperson Brian E. Sheehan, International First Vice President Fabricio Oliveira, International Second Vice President A.P. Singh and all other high executives and participants attending this great event in Dhaka.

At this Dhaka Forum, there are 16 Seminars to be conducted in 4 tracks simultaneously on 16and 17 December. We have eminent speakers in plenary sessions, on 16th December where Prof. Dr. Atiur Rahman, an eminent economist and former Governor of Bangladesh Bank and the other one on 17th December Ms. SaimaWazed, an international autism activist and elected Director of WHO for South East Asia Region.
