JCI Dhaka Astral hold its Chain Handover Ceremony, General Members Meeting and Extraordinary General Assembly on 26th February 2023 at Ascott Palace Dhaka Baridhara. In the ceremony 2023 Local President Khandker Nayemul Hassan officially received the responsibility and Chain of the Board from the Immediate Past Local President Syeda Shah Gufta Naz. 

The General Members Meeting was chaired by the 2023 Local President Khandker Nayemul Hassan where the Executive Board presented the Plan of Action and proposed Budget for the year 2023 and unanimously approved by the members. JCI Dhaka Astral has taken initiative of extensive and effective projects and events round the year 2023.

Prior to the General Members Meeting an Extraordinary General Assembly was conducted by the Election Commissioner and Immediate Past Local President Syeda Shah Gufta Naz. In the EGA Abdullah Al Rashid was elected as Local Vice President, and Parmita Rahman Ivy, Shams Md Enam, Muntasir Azgar were selected as Local Director in addition to the newly appointed Board of the local organization in the General Assembly. After this Election the Board of JCI Dhaka Astral has been comprised of total 13 Board of Directors. The newly appointed Board members officially sworn into office and took oath from the 2023 Local President Khandker Nayemul Hassan.

The event was graced by the Chief Guest Senator Md Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan 2023 National President of JCI Bangladesh. The National Board members of JCI Bangladesh, 2023 National Secretary General M Kamrul Islam Chowdhury, 2023 National General Legal Counsel Eazaz Mohammed, 2023 National Vice President & Mentor Tanveer Saad Akash, 2023 National Vice President Md Altamis Nabil, 2023 National Vice President Md. Azazul Hasan Khan, 2023 National Training Commissioner Rezwanur Rahman, 2023 National BDC Chairperson Fazle Munim, 2023 National Assistant Secretary General Syeda Shah Gufta Naz, & 2023 National Assistant Secretary General Md. Shafquat Husain also graced the occasion. Other Local Chapter Presidents were also present in the event.

JCI is a worldwide organization founded in over 120 countries and has a membership of 200,000 across the world, aged 18 to 40, who are dedicated to providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, fellowship, and entrepreneurship, necessary to create positive change. JCI Dhaka Astral is one of the local organizations of JCI Bangladesh.
