Chief Justice (CJ) Hasan Foez Siddique today convened a full court meeting to reschedule the court office time across the country as the government has issued several directives on Monday aiming to reduce electricity consumption and ease traffic congestion.

Supreme Court (SC) Spokesperson and Registrar of Appellate Division (AD) Mohammad Saifur Rahman told BSS that the CJ has called a full court meeting at 4 pm today at Judges Lounge of the SC to fix the new time schedule of all the courts of the country.

Judges of the Appellate Division and High Court Division of the Supreme Court will participate in the meeting, he added.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification yesterday rescheduling the office hours of government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations to save electricity.
