Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of organising secretary of UK unit of Awami League Alhaj Sajjad Miah.

Sheikh Hasina, also Awami League president,  prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.

Sajjad Miah breathed his last Monday morning at his home in London  at the age of 60. He left behind wife, four daughters, family members and a host of relatives and well wishers.

Meanwhile, Road Transport nd Bridges Minister and AL general secretary Obaidul Quader also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Sajjad Miah.
