JOYPURHAT,  – The 49th founding anniversary of Jubo League, the youth wing of ruling Awami League, was observed in the district today with a call to build Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

On the occasion, Jubo League district unit hoisted the National and Party flags on the premises of district Awami League office in the city in the morning.

Later, floral wreaths were placed at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and founder of Jubo League Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni by District Juba League President Mehedi Hasan Sarkar and other Jubo League leaders.

Marking its anniversary, Jubo League arranged a discussion at the district Awami League office, District Council Chairman and District Awami League President Md. Arifur Rahman Rocket spoke as the chief guest with District Juba League president Mehedi Hasan Sarkar in the chair.

District Awami League General Secretary Md Zakir Hossain, District Awami League vice-President Zahidul Alam Benu, District Jubo League General Secretary Rassell Dewan Milon, Publicity Secretary AEM Masud Reza, Education and Human Resources Secretary ATM Alamgir Kabir Avro spoke it as special guests at the discussion.

President of Sadar Upazila Awami League Golam Mustafa, General Secretary and Dogachhi UP Chairman Zahurul Islam, President of Sadar Upazila Juba League and Vice-Chairman of Sadar Upazila Parishad Ashok Tagore, General Secretary Sarwar Hossain, Municipal Councilor Oliuzzaman, among others, spoke on the occasion.

The speakers discussed the glorious contributions of the Jubo League for establishing the rights of the mass people and materializing Bangabandhu’s dreams.
