Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Miah said that, ‘there is no alternative to meritorious students to build a developing country. There is no alternative to meritorious teachers to build meritorious students. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was meritorious that’s why he called for the freedom even after tolerating so much torture. He was successful. During his rule, 37 thousand non-government primary schools were made functional by the government for the development of education. Today, we can raise our head high as an independent nation and introduce ourselves to the world. Today, his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has done unprecedented development of the country. In order to improve the standard of education, the Prime Minister has introduced stipulations among the students of primary level to secondary level. On the first day of the year, the students are provided with free books. Distribution of timely books for improving quality of education plays a leading role in the creation of meritorious students. Once again, elect Awami League in the upcoming general elections to make the country more developed’.
