 “Since childhood, my dream was to become a singer, and I have been pursuing that dream ever since. Today, I have established an identity as a singer, and I want to remain connected to music for as long as I live.”

These are the words of popular contemporary singer Siam Ahmed, who has already won the hearts of listeners through cover songs and original tracks.

Siam Ahmed was born and raised in Daudkandi upazila of Cumilla district.

At the age of just 19, Siam made his debut in the music industry with a song titled Amar Chotto Ekta Mon Re. Before that, he regularly performed at various school and college events and won the hearts of people in his area as well as fellow students through his singing.

Later, encouraged by his friends, he recorded a cover song and uploaded it to YouTube. The song reportedly crossed nearly three million views within two days. Inspired by the response, he went on to release several more cover songs.

With his growing popularity, nearly three million people now follow him across social media platforms.

Among Siam Ahmed’s popular songs is Tomar Chokher Mayay Poira. Several of his other songs have also gained popularity among listeners.

The singer said he will soon release a song dedicated to Bangladeshi expatriates. He also plans to bring out several more original songs in the coming days.

Speaking about his journey, Siam said he had always had a special love for music since childhood.

“From an early age, I had a different kind of passion for singing. When I started school, my friends told our teacher in the very first class that Siam could sing. The teacher then listened to me sing a song and praised me greatly. Since then, I have remained connected to music,” he said.

Siam added that his journey began with cover songs, but he is now preparing to release several original tracks.

“I have come a long way by doing cover songs, but I will soon be bringing out some original songs. I hope everyone will enjoy them,” he said.
