After a long time, musician Nazu Akhand has released a new song to her fans and listeners.

The title of the song is ‘Jotner Tanpura’. The song is composed with the lyrics of ‘Jotner Tanpurata Bhenge Felechhi, Ami Ar Gaan Gaibo Na.’

Although the song was made in Dhaka, Nazu gave her voice at Pink Voice Studio in New York, USA. Al Masud shot the video in various beautiful locations. Tanha was the model.

The lyrics of the song are written by Razu Chowdhury, the music is composed by Ehsan Rahi.

The music programming and arrangement are done by Sabuj Ashish (Studio Alap).

Amzad Hossain Bappi was involved in the mixing and mastering.

Regarding talking about her newly released song, Nazu Akhand said, “Singing is in my blood.

After a long time, I have come up with an original song. All the songs I have done, I have done with great care.

This one is also the same. It is a melodic song. Anyone will like the lyrics and melody. I have tried to sing with great emotion.”

She also said, “We artistes work hard to create songs. Only when the audience likes it, the hard work is worthwhile.

I believe that those who want to listen to songs with good lyrics and melodies will like this.”

The song ‘Jotner Tanpura’ was released on YouTube from the ‘Shobdo Karigor’ channel on August 26. Singer Nazu Akhand was born in Savar, Dhaka.

She released her first album ‘Kancha Holuder Rong’ in 2000 while still in school.

She then presented the audience with solo albums ‘Swapnokonya’ in 2009, ‘Ektu Jaiga De’ in 2013 and ‘Firiye Dao Amar Prem’ in 2015.

Nazu made her playback debut in 2001 with ‘Mayer Somman’ composed by Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul. After that, she has sung for about 250 film songs in the last two decades.

In 2010, she received ‘Citycell Channel i Music Award’ as the Best Female Singer.
