Almost four years after its theatrical release, the action-thriller film “Psycho”, starring Ziaul Roshan and Puja Chery, has finally arrived on a digital platform. Directed by Anonno Mamun, the film was recently released on Bangladesh’s OTT platform iScreen, giving viewers who missed its theatrical run a chance to watch it from home.

The story revolves around the sudden kidnapping of the daughter of an influential government minister during a grand university event. The incident sparks widespread speculation, with many initially suspecting political rivalry or an old personal feud. However, as the investigation progresses, several unexpected details emerge, gradually making the mystery more complicated.

At a crucial stage of the investigation, a mysterious young man enters the narrative. His unusual behaviour, actions and state of mind raise questions about his possible connection to the kidnapping. As the investigation moves forward, the film explores the relationship between the mysterious man and the incident, keeping viewers engaged with a series of twists and revelations.

Blending action, mystery and suspense, “Psycho” also explores political conflicts, personal relationships and crime. The film was originally released in theatres during Eid-ul-Azha in 2022.
