“I feel more comfortable identifying myself as an entrepreneur rather than simply calling myself a content creator. Because it is entrepreneurs who can create employment opportunities for others.”

These are the words of popular content creator Farhan, who has established himself as a successful personality on social media through music videos, dramas and other content.

Farhan’s full name is Farhan Ahmed Prottoy. He was born and raised in Cumilla. He initially started his career as a blogger and TikToker before later working in music videos and numerous dramas. He entered the media industry at the age of just 18.

Farhan’s first major breakthrough came through a music video titled ‘How Funny’. After its release, the song featuring Farhan received a strong response from audiences.

One of his most popular works is the song ‘Rupoboti Ek Meyer’s Preme Porechi’, which has garnered 37 million views on YouTube. Several more music videos are currently in his pipeline awaiting release.

So far, Farhan has worked in more than 10 music videos and over five dramas.

Speaking about his journey, he said, “Since childhood, my dream was to stand in front of a camera and present myself to an audience. But that dream was not easy to pursue. I used to work abroad, where I would often make videos with an elder brother. While filming him, my hidden interest in content creation gradually grew stronger.

“Then I slowly started learning how to actually create content. At that time, I did not have an expensive phone or a good camera. Despite having many limitations, I continued working and trying to improve.”

He added, “Through that effort, I saved money and bought an iPhone 8, and that was where my real journey began. I never imagined that I would receive so much love from people in such a short time. When my first video went viral, I felt that all my hard work and countless sleepless nights had finally paid off.”

Farhan said, “With every project, I have tried to challenge myself, break away from my old self and rebuild myself in a new way. The position I am in today is not solely the result of my efforts; it has been made possible by the love and prayers of my audience.

“Today, I am not just a content creator; I am also an entrepreneur. My wife and I have built our dream establishment, ‘Samba Elite Beauty Lounge,’ in Kandirpar, Cumilla. Today, it stands as a symbol of our love and dreams.”
