‘Musafir’ actress and Women Entrepreneur Marjaan Jenifa welcomes her motherhood

TBT REPORT

Dhallywood actress Marjaan Jenifa has become a mother for the first time, welcoming a baby boy. The actress, who is currently residing in the United States, gave birth to her son at 10:33pm on August 10. This is the first child of Marjaan Jenifa and her husband, Professor Dr. Jobaer Alam.

The actress opened up about her long labour, the sacrifices of motherhood and her excitement about embracing her new identity through a heartfelt Facebook post.

Sharing her feelings on her Facebook profile, she wrote:

“Alhamdulillah, on August 10 at 10:33pm, I became the mother of a little prince. After enduring 32 hours of labour pain, becoming a mother through a normal delivery is an experience that is truly impossible to put into words.

“After becoming a mother, I realised that a child is the greatest gift from Allah. Alhamdulillah. When a woman brings her first child into the world, all the pain, fear, anxiety and tears of her life seem to turn into joy and love in an instant.

“Those long 32 hours of my life passed amid unbearable labour pain, waiting, anxiety and tears. Every moment, I felt that I could not take it anymore. I thought the pain would never end. But during those 32 hours, I experienced with both my body and mind just how strong a mother’s heart can be.

“Finally, when I saw my little baby for the first time and held him in my arms, I felt that every moment of those 32 hours—the pain, the tears, the waiting and all the suffering—had been worth it. ❤️

“No pain in the world is greater than the joy of seeing your child’s face. What I felt in my heart at that moment cannot be expressed in words. I could only say, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah. 🤲

“Today, I have experienced with my own body and my own life what motherhood truly means—sacrifice, courage, patience and selfless love.

“Throughout this long and difficult journey of bringing my child into the world, I am deeply grateful to everyone who stood by me, especially the baby’s father, those who encouraged me, tried to share my pain, prayed for me and surrounded us with their love and best wishes. ❤️

“Today, I am not just a woman; I am a mother. And this identity is the most beautiful, valuable and proudest identity of my life.

“The struggles of my 10-month journey have now turned into the most beautiful gift of my life. Holding my little baby in my arms today, I feel that Allah has blessed me with one of the most precious treasures in the world.

“I am amazed at how quickly my little one has come to recognise me. As soon as I hold him, he becomes quiet. He knows my scent and my touch very well. Everything together has created a completely different kind of love. 🥰👶❤️

“I sincerely request everyone to pray for my son. May Allah raise my little boy as a healthy, righteous, honest, knowledgeable and compassionate human being. May his life be filled with love, peace, success and blessings. May Allah grant him a long, beautiful and blessed life. Ameen.”

Marjaan Jenifa starred opposite Arifin Shuvoo in director Ashiqur Rahman’s film ‘Musafir’. Released in 2016, the film brought her to the attention of audiences and helped her gain recognition in the Bangladeshi film industry.
