Standard Chartered Cup 2025 concludes in style as Fakir Fashion emerges as champion

The Standard Chartered Cup 2025 wrapped up with a thrilling finale, crowning Fakir Fashion Limited as this year’s champion after an exciting showdown with BAT. The five-a-side tournament, one of Standard Chartered Bangladesh’s flagship annual sporting events, brought together leading corporate teams for a full day of competitive action and camaraderie.

Now in this year’s edition, the SC Cup featured 12 top-tier corporate teams, reinforcing the Bank’s continued efforts to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and inter-institutional bonding.

Participating organizations included Abul Khair Group, British American Tobacco Bangladesh, British Council, Coca-Cola Bangladesh Beverages Ltd., Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Fakir Fashion Ltd., IDLC, Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., PRAN Group, Robi Axiata PLC, Square Group, and Summit Group.

The tournament also celebrated outstanding individual performances. Mohammad Abir Hossain was awarded Player of the Final; Moinul Islam Akash secured both Top Scorer and Golden Boot; Bahauddin was named Best Goalkeeper and received the Golden Gloves; and Hasibul Islam Porosh earned the title of Man of the Tournament.

As champions, Fakir Fashion will enjoy an exclusive visit to Anfield, the historic home of Liverpool Football Club (LFC), where they will have the opportunity to watch a Liverpool match live. The reward is facilitated through Standard Chartered’s longstanding global partnership with LFC, further highlighting the Bank’s commitment to bringing unique international experiences to its stakeholders.
