Moushumi returns to the world of light-camera-action

TBT REPORT

Recently, there were rumors that popular actress Moushumi had retired from acting. Even earlier this month, her husband, actor Omar Sunny, commented that Moushumi wanted to forget herself and that she was Moushumi, which made the rumors even stronger. Many assumed that this popular actress of Dhaka cinema might never be seen on screen again.

However, ending all speculations, Moushumi is back in front of the camera. However, this time, she is not returning through a movie, but through a telefilm.

She has been living in New Jersey, USA for two years. The actress is giving time to her family due to her mothers illness and her daughters studies. However, her attraction to acting has not stopped even during this time. Moushumi recently participated in the shooting of a telefilm called PS Chai Sundori. The shooting took place in Bailey Stream, Long Island, Virginia.

Mousumis co-stars in the telefilm are Hasan Jahangir and Akash Rahman. Actor and producer Hasan Jahangir shared a video of the shooting on social media and said that it will be aired on ATV (USA)s Eid-ul-Azha special.

In the video, Mousumi said, Our drama is coming up titled PS Chai Sundori. It is being made for Eid-ul-Adha. Akash Rahman plays the role of my boss in it. I came to have lunch at a restaurant after shooting with my boss. This is a different kind of story.

Apart from this telefilm, Mousumi has acted in another drama on the same channel.

It is worth mentioning that Moushumis latest released movie is Sonar Chor. Apart from her, it also stars Omar Sunny, Zayed Khan, Jannatul Snigdha and many others.
