Dhaka film megastar Shakib Khan and 90s popular actress Shabnur will be presented with the Artist Journalist Foundation of Bangladesh (AJFB) Award. Shakib Khan will be given the Best Actor award and Shabnur will be given a special award at the award ceremony organized to mark the organization’s 18th anniversary.
The award ceremony will be held on Saturday (May 17) afternoon at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) Hall at Farmgate in the capital. On that day, awards will be given to nominees in various categories including film and TV actors and actresses, musicians, dancers, models, content creators, entertainment journalists, women entrepreneurs, and fashion.
AJFB President Faruk Hossain Majumder said that this year, megastar Shakib Khan will be given the best hero award and Shabnur will be given a special award. Besides, film actor Nirab, film actress Shabnam Bubli, film actress Nusrat Faria, film actor Sajal, film actor Siam, actor Shiva Shanu, TV actress Sadia Jahan Probha, Samira Khan Mahi, Tanjin Tisha, and music singers Asif Akbar, Belal Khan, Munsur, Ithun Babu, SI Suman, Sumi Shabnam, and Atia Anisa have already been nominated for the best hero award.
Incidentally, AJFB has been organizing the award ceremony every year. The organization has Majumder Films’ proprietor and producer Faruk Hossain Majumder as its president and film actor Nirab as its general secretary.
