‘Tumi Robe Nirobe’ – A story of a mother and daughter. This timeless song by Rabindranath Tagore is now being transformed into a music video. This video is being produced by filmmaker and playwright Chayanika Chowdhury. She has created the inner world of a lonely mother and the tragic reality of the return of her lost daughter.
The country’s legendary model, dancer and actress Sadia Islam Mou is starring in a full-fledged story-based music video for the first time, where she highlights silent love, waiting and the pain of motherhood. The song is sung by Shirin Chowdhury, a ghazal singer from Toronto, Canada, who currently lives in Florida, whose every melody has a touch of personal reality hidden in it.
The video has been produced under the banner of production company Singistic. New talented model Nidrita Sarkar will be playing the role of Mou’s daughter. The video was shot by Suman Hossain. It will be released on International Mother’s Day, May 11.
Chayanika Chowdhury said, “’Tumi Robe Nirobe’ is an eternal dedication of respect and love to all mothers. Model Mou’s impeccable performance has made the work more lively. I hope everyone will like the music video.”
Incidentally, Mou entered modeling in 1989 through a shampoo advertisement. Till now, she is the highest-paid female model in Bangladesh. Along with modeling, they are occasionally seen in TV dramas. Last Eid, she acted in the drama ‘Kono Ekdin’. The drama written by Faria Hossain was directed by Chayanika Chowdhury. Afzal Hossain was seen opposite Mou in it.
