Vicky Zahed’s Neel Shukh to release on Binge

TBT REPORT: Acclaimed director Vicky Zahed's latest web film, Neel Shukh, launches soon on Binge, the OTT platform owned by Robi's subsidiary, R Ventures PLC.The official trailer for the web film was released on Monday, February 10. Earlier, on February 8, the official music video of the film was unveiled. The web film will be released on Binge on February 18.

At the trailer release event held at Shanta Forum on Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road in the capital, the web film has already garnered significant attention online following the release of its official music video. The trailer, too, has captured widespread attention on social media. The trailer features Rabindranath Tagore’s song “Kotobar Vebechhinu Apna Bhuliya, Tomar Charone Dibo Hriday Khuliya” and showcases the brilliant performances of Mehazabien Chowdhury and Farrukh Ahmed Rehan, which have already won viewers' hearts. The exceptional combination of music, acting, and visuals has heightened anticipation for Neel Shukh.

At the trailer launch, film director Vicky Zahed offered insights into the film’s premise, stating, “This time, I bring you a story of pure love. It is the journey of two people, their love, and the circumstances surrounding them, their joy and their sorrow. It’s not your typical love story; however, what sets it apart will become clear once you watch the Neel Shukh.”

Popular actress Mehazabien Chowdhury expressed her excitement, remarking, “This is my third collaboration with Binge and Vicky Zahed. Our previous two OTT ventures were major hits, so I’m optimistic this one will be equally successful.” She further shared, the moment I heard the story from Vicky Zahed, I immediately agreed to do it.”

Another key actor in Neel Shukh, Forrukh Ahmed Rehan conveyed his enthusiasm, saying, “I have a strong feeling that this is going to be the best love story of this year’s valentine.”
The event was also attended by popular singer Nancy, who is making a comeback after a long time with the song “Kotobar Vebechhinu” in the film’s soundtrack.
The release of the trailer has created a wave of excitement online. Fans are expressing their enthusiasm in the comment section of Binge’s official YouTube channel.
With the music video setting the stage and the trailer further amplifying anticipation, director Vicky Zahed once again showcases his flair for compelling storytelling. As the countdown to 18 February begins, Neel Shukh promises to be a love story that will leave an indelible impression on its audience for days to come.
