Since my childhood I was a music crazy person, listening to songs on radio TV and humming songs was a daily routine, so music was a part of my life. The words are popular and everyone's favorite Mukh Baul artiste Rabbi Sarkar. He said these things while talking about his dreams and reality with this reporter.
His full name is Rabbi Sarkar, born and brought up in Gochamara village, a remote area of Bhairab Upazila of Kishoreganj district. Rabbi Sarkar was very fond of music from his childhood, so his friends called him the song-crazy Rabbi. Rabbi Sarkar took his first training in singing from Ustad Ahmed Hussain, later learned music from Ustad AR Jasim Khan. This artist used to sing regularly in various programs of the area since childhood. Currently, he sings in different districts of Bangladesh and in the neighboring country of India. Rabbi Sarkar sings baul songs, pala songs, bichar songs and qawwali, and plays the violin and sings on stage.
And in a short time he has gained quite a reputation through music. Among the original songs written by Rabbi Sarkar himself, there is so much passion in the love of a friend, if the ink of the pen ends, it is surprising to think that you are the only one in my life.
What dreams about music? When asked, Rabbi Sarkar also said, Baul song is in my blood, I will be with the song forever, I want to spread Bangla song all over the world through my voice, I want to move forward with everyone's love and prayers.
