Shakilur Rahman Appointed Joint Secretary of CJFB

The Cultural Journalists' Forum of Bangladesh (CJFB), an organization of entertainment journalists, was established in 1999, comprising cultural journalists from the country's leading national newspapers, television channels, and online news portals. On October 17, the 25th Executive Committee meeting of CJFB announced the new committee for the 2024-25 term.

In the newly formed committee, young journalist Shakilur Rahman (Shakil) has been entrusted with the role of 'Joint Secretary.' He is currently working in the Digital Media and Marketing department at the popular television channel, SATV.

Upon receiving the new responsibility, Shakilur Rahman stated, 'This is a significant challenge for me. I will do my utmost to maintain the reputation of this esteemed organization. Grateful to everyone for appointing me as the Joint Secretary. Hoping for new achievements ahead.'

Notably, the new president of CJFB is Enam Sarkar, News Editor of SATV, while M S Rana, Head of the Entertainment Division of the Daily Ajker Patrika, has been appointed as the General Secretary. Tamim Hasan, Head of Programs at Radio Amar, has been appointed as the Chief Advisor of the committee. Additionally, Khaled Ahmed, Feature Editor of Daily Khaborer Kagoj, and Din Islam, News Editor of Probash TV-Canada, are serving as advisors.
