The NSU SEPS Alumni Association ( Ex-students from School of Engineering & Physical Science, North South University) has made a significant contribution to support the flood-affected communities of Bangladesh. In response to the recent devastating floods in Cumilla-Noakhali-Feni area, the association handed over their donation to the Central Donation Fund of NSU through Prof Dr. Mohammad Sahadat Hossain, Dean, SEPS, NSU, to reinforce the university's ongoing relief efforts.
The handover ceremony took place at the NSU campus, where executive leaders from the Alumni Association presented the donation to university officials. This initiative highlights the commitment of NSU SEPS alumni to give back to society and aid those in need during times of crisis.
Speaking on behalf of the NSU Alumni Association, Engr. Md. Abdul Kayum, MIEB the President of the association, expressed their solidarity with the flood victims and emphasized the importance of collective action in times of natural disasters. "As alumni, we feel a deep connection to our community and nation. It is our responsibility to support those who are most vulnerable during this challenging time," he said.
The NSU Central Donation Fund, established by the university, has been actively working to provide relief and rehabilitation for flood victims across the country. The donation from the NSU SEPS Alumni Association, North South University (NSU ) will further strengthen these efforts, allowing for more substantial support to those affected by the floods.
