600 cold-hit people get warm clothes in Rangpur

RANGPUR,  – Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) today distributed warm clothes among 600 cold-hit poor people in a function held at RCCI Public School and College ground in the city.

The RCCI distributed 300 high quality blankets and 300 sweaters among cold-hit people under the joint initiative of Bangladesh Chamber of Industry
(BCI) and Labib Group Corporate as part of their Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes.

Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud distributed warm clothes among cold-stricken people in the function as the chief guest with RCCI President Mostafa Sohrab Chowdhury Titu in the chair.

Deputy Police Commissioner (Headquarters and Admin) of RpMP Md. Mohidul Islam, Senior Vice-president of RCCI Mostoba Hossain Ripon, Convener of its relief and reception management affairs sub-committee and Director Khemchand Somani Rabi, Directors Md. Shahjahan Babu, Motahar Hossain Mandal Mowla, Ajoy Prasad Babon, Md. Amjad Hossain Chowdhury and former Vice-president Md. Mozammel Haque Dambel were present.

The chief guest highly appreciated the initiative of distributing warm clothes among cold-stricken people of Rangpur to mitigate their sufferings.
