BARGUNA, – Aysha Siddika Minni was released today from jail on bail in a case over the murder of her husband Refat Shorif in Barguna.

The Barguna district jail authorities released her from jail after receiving an order from the High Court, said Minni’s lawyer Mahbubul Bari
Aslam. The Supreme Court yesterday cleared the way for Minni to walk out of jail.

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC) yesterday (Monday) upheld conditional bail granted by High Court to Minni in a case lodged over
the brutal murder of her husband Rifat Sharif in Barguna.

Rifat Sharif was hacked to death in broad daylight in Barguna on June 26. Police on July 16 showed his wife Minni arrested in the case and a court
on July 17 placed her on five-day remand.
