Kinza Hashmi to make Dhallywood debut opposite Shakib Khan

TBT DESK

Speculation is growing over the leading actress in Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan’s new film “Mohabbat”. A number of actresses, including Pakistani stars, have reportedly been considered for the project, with popular Pakistani actress Kinza Hashmi emerging as a potential choice.

Although rumours suggest that Kinza Hashmi may share the screen with Shakib Khan, the filmmakers have yet to make any official announcement regarding the female lead.

Born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, Kinza Hashmi began her acting career in 2014. Before entering television dramas, she appeared in commercials and worked as a model.

Her career took a significant turn in 2018 with the Pakistani television drama “Ishq Tamasha”, where her portrayal of Rushna earned widespread recognition.

Since then, Kinza has appeared in numerous popular television dramas, including “Gul-o-Gulzar”, “Deewar-e-Shab”, “Shongsar”, “Mohabbat Tum Se Nafrat Hai”, “Faraib”, “Daldal”,  and “Hook”.

Her ability to portray diverse characters has helped her build a strong fan base.

Beyond television, Kinza has also ventured into films, appearing in “Kattar Karachi” and “Sharoz”.

If confirmed, “Mohabbat” could mark an important milestone in her career, bringing her together with one of Bangladesh’s biggest film stars.

The possibility of acollaboration between two prominent entertainment personalities from Bangladesh and Pakistan has already generated considerable interest among fans.

However, the audience will have to wait for an official announcement to learn whether Kinza will ultimately star opposite Shakib Khan. If everything goes according to plan, “Mohabba” is expected to hit theatres during Eid-ul-Azha in 2027.
