Nusrat Faria to feature in another song for ‘Laapataa’

TBT DESK

Nusrat Faria has repeatedly reinvented herself on screen through song and dance. Alongside her acting, her appearances in music-driven productions have also drawn audience interest. With experience in films across both Bengals, the actress continues to take on new projects.

A new song is now being prepared for Laapataa, a web film directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy. Popular Indian choreographer Baba Yadav will choreograph the number.

Filming for the web film has already wrapped, but director Mehedi Hasan Hridoy is planning to create and shoot an additional song. Baba Yadav is expected to travel to Bangladesh for the shoot, which the director intends to complete under his choreography.

Baba Yadav is a well-known choreographer in Indian cinema. The team hopes his work on the new song will add an extra attraction to Laapataa. Details about the song’s music, shooting schedule and other aspects have yet to be announced.

The web film is set to premiere on the OTT platform iScreen. However, the addition of the new song is delaying its release. No confirmed date has been announced for either the song’s shoot or the film’s release.

The decision to add a new song even after filming had wrapped has extended the wait for Laapataa. Audiences will now have to wait for the shoot to be completed and the film to be prepared for release.
