Speaking about the celebration of her 25-year career, Chayanika Chowdhury said, “Time really passes so quickly. It feels like just the other day, on September 18, 2001, I shot my first drama as a director. I was very nervous. Even today, I feel nervous when I remember that day. Before I knew it, 25 years have passed.

“Directing is like a prayer to me. Many people organise large events to mark their silver jubilee. I feel that the time has not yet come for me to do something on such a large scale. I simply felt like making dramas. These four dramas are for the audience whose love has inspired me to continue making dramas.”
