Pathik Nabi makes musical comeback with “O Pakhi”

TBT REPORT

Popular vocalist, lyricist and composer Pathik Nabi has returned to the music scene with a new original song titled “O Pakhi”. The track was recently released under the banner of production house Lionic Music.

Pathik Nabi has lent his voice to the song, while also writing its lyrics and composing the music. KGM Rahat handled the music arrangement.

The release marks the artiste’s return with original material after a significant hiatus. However, Pathik Nabi does not consider it a “return” to music.

“There is no such thing as a ‘return.’ I live with music all year round. However, in this era of YouTube, songs aren’t released in the traditional way, and I don’t quite grasp that system. Yet, I continue to create music in my own style. Regardless of illness or the various twists and turns of life, I have never strayed far from music,” he said.

Talking about “O Pakhi”, the singer said the song is particularly close to his heart, even though it may not conform to current trends. “I wrote the lyrics myself. It might not align with current viral trends, but it is a project very close to my heart,” he said.

Pathik Nabi also revealed that he is planning to release more original songs under the same banner in the future.

Pathik Nabi is one of country’s acclaimed lyricists, composers and vocalists. He rose to fame in 2003 with the song “Amar Ekti Nodi Chilo, Janlo Nato Keu”, which he performed on the popular television programme “Ityadi”.

Since then, he has lent his voice to numerous popular songs, including “Nishi Kalo Megh Dekhe”, “Brikkho Jemon Aghat Dileo”, “Ochena Pathik, Koshter Gaye Lal Jama”, “Chokher Drishti, Ke Amake Bhalobashibe”, “Makhi Gira” and “Amar Ami Naire”, among others.
