Tom Holland and Zendaya’s wedding mystery just got another twist. Despite months of speculation that the Spider-Man stars had secretly tied the knot, Zendaya’s longtime stylist and close friend, Law Roach, has now said the couple are “not officially married.” The clarification comes months after Roach himself claimed that the two had already exchanged vows.

Roach addressed the rumours while attending the 2026 Emmy Awards, effectively walking back his earlier comments about the couple’s marital status. “They are not officially married,” he said, putting another question mark over a relationship that has kept fans guessing about its next chapter.

He also dismissed the wedding pictures that have been doing the rounds online, calling them fake and claiming they were generated using AI. The images had fuelled speculation that Holland and Zendaya had quietly got married away from the spotlight.

But Roach’s latest clarification does little to settle the mystery, especially because Holland himself has repeatedly referred to Zendaya as his “wife” in official interviews. The actor’s casual use of the term has only added fuel to speculation that there could be more to their marital status than the couple have publicly confirmed.

Holland and Zendaya got engaged in late 2024 after years of keeping their romance largely away from the public eye. Since then, fans have closely tracked everything from their jewellery to their public appearances for clues about whether the engagement eventually turned into a wedding.

The pair have also been spotted wearing rings that fans have interpreted as wedding bands. Neither actor, however, has made a formal announcement confirming that they are married.

The latest comments therefore leave the couple’s relationship status in a particularly curious place: Roach says there has been no official wedding, while Holland’s repeated references to Zendaya as his wife continue to keep the secret-wedding theory alive.

Holland and Zendaya first met while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming and eventually began dating. Their relationship became public in 2021 after photographs of the two kissing surfaced online.
