

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today inquired about the health of ailing mother of forced disappeared leader of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader of Jagannath University (JnU) Md Al-Amin.
A delegation of the Amra BNP Poribar led by member secretary Mokchedul Momin Mithun visited Al-Amin’s residence today at the directive of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, said a press release.
JnU JCD leader Al-Amin became a victim of enforced disappearance from the city’s Bashundhara Residential Area on December 4, 2013. His mother, Jesmin Begum, has been suffering from illness for a long time.
After learning about her illness, the Prime Minister instructed his Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman to inquire about Jesmin Begum’s condition.
The delegation inquired about her treatment and conveyed the Prime Minister’s message of sympathy to her.
Members of the Amra BNP Poribar Masud Rana Liton and Shakil Ahmed, and JCD leader Mashiur Rahman Mahan, among others, were present.
