Rachel John’s Work in Christian Ministry and Community Service

For Pastor Rachel John, Christian ministry is not limited to church duties. Her work has also involved community activities with children, women, students and families in need.

Born in Lahore, Rachel John describes herself as a Christian woman and pastor working in Pakistan and abroad. Along with her pastoral duties, she says she has helped people facing financial difficulties by providing food, education and livelihood support.

Children have been a major part of her community work. Rachel John says she helps provide food to children and is involved in running a small school. She has also distributed toy boxes to children from families with limited means and spent time with them during these activities.

Her ministry is linked with King Television and Consuming Fire Ministries of Pakistan. According to King Television’s official website, Pastor John and Pastor Rachel John have served in ministry since 2011. The organization describes their work as including churches, Bible schools, crusades and discipleship programmes. It names Pastor John AD as the founder and chairman of King Television.

King Television also lists My Father’s Home Foundation among its projects in Lahore. According to the ministry’s website, the project provides food, clothing, education, Bible training and Sunday school for children.

Houses of Hope Global also mentions the children’s work. Its Lahore page names John AD and Rachel John as founders of My Father’s Home and describes the project as providing care and support for vulnerable children.

Women are another focus of Rachel John’s community activities. She says she has given sewing machines to women, giving them equipment they can use to earn an income. She also says she has helped people with small businesses as part of her efforts to support livelihoods.

Education is another part of her work. Rachel John says she has distributed cheques to students who pass their matriculation examinations, recognising their academic achievement and giving them financial help.

Her pastoral work also includes fellowship with other Christian ministers and taking part in religious gatherings and community events. The National Christian Fund Pakistan reported that Pastor John AD and Pastor Rachel John AD attended a St. Luke Hospital Fundraising Christmas Dinner on December 10, 2025, at Shalimar Tower Hotel in Lahore. The organization said the pastors delivered a message based on Mark 11:22–24.

Rachel John’s approach brings together religious service and practical help. Through her pastoral responsibilities and community activities, she has focused on supporting children, encouraging students, assisting women and helping families facing financial difficulties.
