Three of the most talked-about stars of the current entertainment scene—Sadnima Binte Noman, Sarika Sabah and Maria Shanto—are set to appear together in a new drama titled Love Stories. The drama explores three different tales of love through their characters.

Following Neel Sukh, acclaimed director Vicky Zahed has once again turned his attention to a story centred on love.

In the drama, Maria Shanto portrays a young woman named Tania, who constantly searches for a certain melody amid the suffocating circumstances of her life. Sadnima Binte Noman plays Rupa, a character who gradually realises through life’s trials and tribulations that not every stranger brings love—some arrivals bring fear, curiosity and an unknown sense of anxiety.

Meanwhile, behind the cheerful appearance of Sarika Sabah’s character Nazah lies a story of heartbreak.

Maria, Sadnima and Sarika have all acknowledged that these characters are entirely new for them. According to the actresses, Vicky Zahed’s work is distinctly different from that of others, while his approach to stories about love is particularly surprising. That is why they are highly optimistic about the project.

Besides Sadnima Binte Noman, Sarika Sabah and Maria Shanto, Prantar Dastidar, Saad Naovi, Yamin and others have also portrayed various characters in Love Stories.

According to the cast, Vicky Zahed has consistently sought to bring something new to the presentation of different stories and characters. Although dark thrillers, psychological conflicts and mysterious narratives have traditionally dominated his dramas and telefilms, a look at his works—including Chihno, Shobdoprem, Tithidore, Kuasha, Irina, Banchibar Holo Tar Shadh, Kajoler Dinratri, Ditiyo Shuru, Sedin Chhilo Shukrobar, Khowabnama, Ondho Balok, Prakritojon, Kalo Borof, Chokh, Majnu, Chhondopoton, Lovers Food Van, Kaykobad, Charer Master, Bhuljonmo, Punarjonmo, Jonmodag and Chirokal Aaj—bears testimony to his distinctive approach.

This time, Vicky Zahed has stepped away from that familiar territory to present a love story in a different way.

Describing Love Stories, the makers said, “In the face of eternity, love is humanity’s greatest pride, yet it is also its greatest defeat. This drama tells a unique story of losing one’s way in a complex maze of fate and emotion.”

They hope the drama will leave a strong impression on viewers. Producer Muhammad Kamruzzaman said Love Stories will be released on the YouTube channel of K S A Entertainment.
