Bangladesh’s final preparatory match held in China camp

DHAKA: Bangladesh national women's football team today (Thursday) played its second closed-door preparatory friendly match against Guangdong Women's FC at the Guangdong Football Base, bringing an end to its preparation camp in China ahead of the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

Guangdong Women's FC is a competitive club in China's top-tier women's football league. The club is currently seventh in the 2026 league standings and regularly face some of the country's leading teams.

The match marked the end of Bangladesh's China preparation phase. The team will now leave China for Japan tomorrow (Friday) and is scheduled to arrive in Nagoya at around 9 pm.

From Nagoya, the Bangladesh team will travel by bus to Osaka, where it will be based during the women's football competition at the Asian Games.
