Tanzil Misbah Doulat on power of listeners ‘Love and Prayer’

TBT REPORT

“I am sincerely grateful to everyone who has been listening to my songs, loving my work and supporting me from the very beginning. I want to promise that as long as I continue making music, I will always try to win a place in listeners’ hearts with every song I release. Their love and prayers are the greatest strength behind my journey.”

These are the words of popular singer Tanzil Misbah Doulat, who has already made a strong impression on listeners with his melodious voice.

Tanzil Misbah Doulat’s full name is Tanzil Misbah Doulat Khan. He was born and raised in Danga Union of Palash upazila in Narsingdi. He spent most of his childhood there. From an early age, Misbah developed a special passion for music and singing.

The singer began his musical journey with the song Emon Ekta Manush, which received a warm response from listeners following its release. Encouraged by the response, he went on to release several more original songs.

Among his popular tracks are Emon Ekta Manush, Lal Shari, Maya Kore Bole, Mayar Duniya, Chand Bodone, Tota Pakhi, Jan Re, Ayre Moyna and Firbo Na Tomar Shohore, among others.

At present, he is working on an album as well as several original songs. Around 10 new projects are currently in the works, all of which will be released for listeners at the appropriate time, the singer said.

Misbah has also had the opportunity to collaborate with several established artists. He has recorded a duet with Avanti Sithi and has also worked on duet songs with Kazi Shuvo, Lutfor Hasan, Mohammad Milon and Jisan Khan Shuvo. So far, the singer has released more than 15 original songs.

Asked about his passion for music, he said, “Music is not just a profession for me; it is my love, my emotion and the greatest medium through which I express myself. I always want to make songs that are not only relevant today but continue to live in people’s hearts for years to come.”

He added, “My biggest dream is to present Bangla music to the world on a larger scale. One of my main goals is for my songs to reach Bangla-speaking people in different parts of the world, beyond the borders of Bangladesh. I believe good music and genuine emotions have no boundaries.”

“I want every one of my songs to become connected with some emotion in the listeners’ lives. I hope there comes a time when, even many years later, someone listens to one of my songs and is reminded of a particular memory from their life. I want my songs to be more than just songs to my listeners—to become a part of their lives. That would be my greatest achievement.”

Looking ahead, Misbah wants to work on better songs, explore new forms of music and take on diverse musical projects. He also hopes to continually reinvent himself and contribute to the enrichment of Bangla music in his own way.
