Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister visits hospitals in Manikganj 

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam Rita yesterday visited several healthcare facilities in the district, including 250-bed Manikganj General Hospital, Manikganj Medical College Hospital and Saturia Upazila Health Complex.

During the visits, the minister inspected healthcare services and exchanged views with doctors, health officials, and local leaders regarding the overall healthcare situation in the district 

Among those present were Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana, Civil Surgeon Dr. Ivi Ferdous, Principal of Monno Medical College Hospital Professor Abdul Karim, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Abdullah Al Mamun, Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Salahuddin, President of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) Manikganj district unit Dr. Bodrul Alam Chowdhury, General Secretary Dr. Ziaur Rahman Khan, and leaders and activists of the district and upazila BNP and its affiliated organisations.

The minister, in his address, called on the healthcare professionals and employees to perform their duties with sincerity and dedication to help prevent the spread of diseases, including dengue and measles. She also instructed physicians and relevant authorities to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of their respective healthcare institutions.
