Eid celebrations through music

As with every Eid, this Eid-ul-Adha is bringing a fresh lineup of new songs from both veteran and emerging artists. Alongside major production houses, many artists are also releasing songs through their own YouTube channels. Here’s a look at some of the notable Eid releases:

Habib and Kaya reunite after two decades—with Muza

After nearly 23 years, Habib Wahid and Kaya are collaborating again. Their new track, Koi Roila Re, also features Muza and will premiere on Habib’s YouTube channel on May 27.

Balam releases ‘Maola’ music video

Balam is releasing the music video for Maola, the title track from his fifth solo album, after previously releasing four audio tracks during Eid-ul-Fitr.

Imran’s ‘Mon Bujhla Na’

Imran Mahmudul returns with Mon Bujhla Na, written and composed by Gunjan Chowdhury, with music arranged by Imran himself.

Abanti  and Amit’s ‘Prem’

Abanti Sithi teams up with Amit Dey for ‘Prem’, released on the T&T Consultancy London YouTube channel.

Asif and Rubayyat’s ‘Ruposhi Sreemangal’

Asif Akbar and London-based singer Rubayyat Jahan have released Ruposhi Sreemangal, a musical film celebrating the history and natural beauty of Sreemangal, via Dhruba Music Station.

Mahtim and Konal’s ‘Premkahini’

Mahtim Shakib and Konal lend their voices to ‘Premkahini’, now available on the KM Music channel.

Milon and Rodela’s first duet

Mohammad Milon and Marzia Bushra Rodela have teamed up for their first duet, ‘Kan Pete Shon’.

Sania Sultana Liza is set to release ‘Tomar Rodela Akashe’, featuring Anik, on her YouTube channel.

Nusraat Faria returns with Fuad after three years

Nusraat Faria returns to music with ‘Loke Bole’, composed and arranged by Fuad Al Muqtadir. The video drops on May 26 via SVF Music and BlinG Music.

Aishi’s ‘Noakhaiylla Maiya’

Born and raised in Noakhali, Aishi celebrates her roots in Noakhaiylla Maiya, featuring Black Zang.

Reza Karim’s ‘Mone Jodi Jhor’

Reza Karim also joins the Eid lineup with Mone Jodi Jhor.

Shuvo’s ‘Mon Bujhi Na’ featuring Partha and Aisha

Zisan Khan Shuvo’s new song Mon Bujhi Na will be released on May 25 through Gaanchill Music, featuring actors Partha Sheikh and Aisha Khan in the music video.

This Eid, music lovers have plenty to look forward to—with nostalgia, fresh collaborations, and a wide range of styles adding to the festive spirit.
