Tania Brishty set to play title role again

TBT REPORT

Popular small screen actress of this generation, Tania Brishty has been undergoing treatment for a brain tumour for quite some time.

First in Bangladesh, then in Chennai before Eid, she underwent treatment for her brain tumour.

On the occasion of this Eid-ul-Fitr, a drama titled ‘Suptader Bari’ starring her was released on YouTube.

Tania Brishty played the title role in it. Mohammad Bari and Saberi Alam played the roles of her father and mother in the drama.

In addition, Samira Khan Mahi, Makhnun Sultana Mahima and Tanni Mahamid Trina played the roles of Tania Brishty’s three sisters.

The drama was released on YouTube on March 27 and has received a lot of response from viewers due to its family story.

Especially those who are regular viewers and fans of Tania Brishty’s dramas have enjoyed the drama quite a bit.

The story of the drama ‘Suptader Bari’, written and produced by talented director Imraul Rafat, is about a happy family of four sisters with their father and mother.

But suddenly their father and mother died in a road accident. They start having problems over the properties left by their father.

Their elder sister Supta faces family problems while trying to resolve it and the story of the drama progresses.

Regarding talking about acting in the drama, Tania Brishty told this correspondent, “In my acting career, I have acted in many good dramas with good storylines.

However, I have worked in very few dramas in the title role. While working on this drama under the direction of Rafat, I often felt tears in my eyes.

I always try to immerse myself in the characters within the story, and that’s exactly what happened with this drama. The audience is enjoying the drama.

This is my achievement as an actress. Everyone please pray for me, may Allah grant me complete recovery.”

Regarding talking about actress Tania Brishty, director Imraul Rafat said, “Tania Brishty was the soul of the drama ‘Suptader Bari’ during its shooting.

Behind her smiling face — a terrible disease was spreading throughout her body, and no one could tell, not even she herself, that Brishty was suffering from it. She gave positive energy to the entire shooting unit every day.

The shooting started with Tania’s shot, the shooting ended with her shot too. Every moment, she was the ‘Supta’ of our story.

The life of the Supta’s house, the eldest daughter ‘Supta’ is sick today. The once-glorious home of ‘Suptader Bari’ seems very dim today.

We all pray that Supta returns home healthy. Let the whole house rejoice in the roll of laughter.”
