Advisers start visiting districts in week-long campaign on referendum

Members of the Council of Advisers have started a campaign to create public awareness about referendum on July Charter.

The interim government advisers, responsible for election monitoring and assistance, started this campaign today (January 15). Under this programme, they will inform the people in different districts about the importance, purpose and process of the referendum. 

The programme will continue till January 21, said a press release issued by the Chief Adviser's Press Wing.

As part of the campaign, the advisers will exchange views with people from different classes and professions, including representatives of the local administration and civil society, and will increase public awareness about participating in the referendum.

On the first day of the campaign, Local Government Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan is visiting Chattogram today. There, he will participate in different programmes, including meetings with relevant officials.
