Two Bengali stars meet in Kolkata

TBT REPORT

No matter how tense the political relations between India and Bangladesh may be, the bond between the two Bengals cinema and stars remains unbroken - this is what Dhallywood and Tollywood stars proved. Shakib Khan, Jaya Ahsan, Subhashree Ganguly and Srabanti Chatterjee were seen together at a special party held recently in Kolkata.

The party was organized by SVF leaders Mahendra Soni and Srikanth Mohta. Taandob director Raihan Rafi has been in India for several days for shooting. He was also present at the party with Shakib and Jaya.

Jaya Ahsan will be seen opposite Shakib Khan in the movie Taandob. This action-thriller movie is going to be released on the upcoming Eid. The movie also features a host of stars including Sabila Noor. The teaser has already received a response from the audience.

Jaya Ahsan is currently busy with Tollywood director Kaushik Gangopadhyay’s ‘Ardhangini 2’. She is also in Kolkata for that reason. They were accompanied by Subhasree and Srabanti, who have worked with Shakib before.

Parambrata Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, Raj Chakraborty, Gaurav Chatterjee and Anindya Chatterjee were also present at this domestic event.

Where cinema is a bridge, such a meeting of two Bengali stars has become a positive message for the audience of both countries.
