They will be seen acting in several trendy story dramas and life-related dramas this Eid. In that continuity, the pair has now acted in a drama titled ‘Kotipati’. The shooting of the drama has already been completed in various locations in Uttara of the capital. The drama is written by Zayed Julhas. It is produced by Bornath.
Regarding acting in the play, Niloy Alamgir said, “The story of this play is that a low-class person becomes dishonest from poverty. He becomes a wealthy person by committing corruption. He also becomes very arrogant. How he gradually falls after becoming arrogant is shown in this play. I have acted in several plays under the direction of Bornonath before. He wants to make story-based plays, plays that have some kind of message. Be it a comedy play or a serious play. The experience of working with him is very good.”
Heme said, “I have to say something different about Bornonath compared to other directors. The thing I noticed in my first work under his direction, which was that he spoke dialogues and gave expressions while doing activities, I actually got that right from the beginning. That’s when I felt like he gave instructions knowingly and was a very organized and tidy director. He got the job done properly with little thought.”
Niloy Alamgir said that several other directors including Mohin Khan, Mohsin Akash, Chayanika Chowdhury, SR Majumder, Nazmul Roni, Zakiul Islam, Ripon are already scheduled to work. The drama ‘Kotipoti’ will be aired on a YouTube channel during the upcoming Eid. Meanwhile, the drama ‘Bhai Bhai Dondo’ starring Niloy Himi directed by Mehedi Roni was released on YouTube last week. Shahed Shahriar and Nahar Noreen also acted in the drama. This drama, which is based on the story of two brothers, has received a lot of response from the audience.
