Small screen artists busy with commercial movies

There was a time when there was a lot of reluctance among drama actors to watch Dhallywood movies. Especially when they heard about commercial movies, the small screen actors would sneer at the idea. But now times have changed.  

Despite not achieving overall commercial success, several films of this time are coming into the discussion with their stories and production style. There has been innovation in production, changes in the story, which has received a positive response from the audience. The acceptance of Bengali cinema has increased in the world. As a result, the interest of drama artists in commercial films has increased. They are seen leaning towards commercial films. Many are seeing this positively.

Many new and old actors of drama have already signed their names in movies. Not only artists, but also small screen directors are now showing interest in making commercial movies. Those who have made their living by making dramas and advertisements. Now they are practicing their talents on the big screen. Meanwhile, six movies were released in the countrys theaters last Eid-ul-Fitr. Out of which, several movies were by drama artists.

This trend will continue in the upcoming Eid as well. In the meantime, the movies that have announced their release on Eid-ul-Azha, drama artists are present. Not only that, but those artists are also playing the main roles. Currently, among the drama artists, Mosharraf Karim, Abdun Noor Sajal, Afran Nisho, Sabila Nur, Ajmeri Haque Badhon, Tasnia Farin, Mehazabien Chowdhury, Rafiat Rashid Mithila, Sadia Ayman and many others are busy with movies.

Mosharraf Karim has acted in several films in the past few years. A film titled Chokkor 302 starring him was released on Eid-ul-Fitr. Another film titled Insaaf of this actor is also going to be released on the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. He has also completed the shooting of a film titled Kurkab. A film titled Bildakini is awaiting release.

Last year, drama actress Tasnia Farin made her debut in Dhaka cinema with a movie called Fatima. She has already completed work on a commercial movie called Insaaf. It will be released in theaters on the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. Through this movie, the actress will appear on screen for the first time as an Eid heroine and a formula movie heroine. 

Currently, Ajmeri Haque Badhan is completely irregular in dramas. She is not involved in any new movies. It can be said that she is a bit away from acting. However, two movies in which she acted are waiting for release, namely Master and Esha Murder: Karmaphal. It is known that the movie Esha Murder: Karmaphal may be released on Eid-ul-Azha.

Popular drama actress Sabila Noor is going to make her film debut on Eid-ul-Adha. She will be seen opposite Shakib Khan in a commercial film called Taandob. Although there has been no official announcement from the director and production company regarding her acting, the actress is also reluctant to open her mouth on the matter. However, recently, videos and stills from the shooting of this film were spread on social media, where Sabila was seen with Shakib Khan.

Drama actor Abdun Noor Sajal is also busy with film and OTT work. His film Jinn-3 was released last Eid-ul-Fitr. He also completed work on another film called Ritukamini last year. It may be released this year.

Popular drama actor Afran Nisho made his film debut two years ago. After the release of his first film Surongo, he said goodbye to drama. Now he is a full-fledged film hero. It can be said that he is not thinking about anything outside of cinema now. Besides, despite saying goodbye to drama, he is working on OTT content. He recently finished working on a new series. Meanwhile, a spicy film named Daagi starring him was released last Eid-ul-Fitr.

Rafiat Rashid Mithilas film Jole Jwole Tara was released on Valentines Day this year. Also, last year, another film of this actress named Kajalrekha was released. She works in both Dhaka and Kolkata industries. She has several popular works in Kolkata as well as Bangladesh. This actress has also increased her focus on movies along with dramas and OTT content.

Sadia Ayman, the popular actress of the current generation of dramas, has also now turned her attention to cinema. The first film of her career, Kajalrekha, was released last year. She recently announced that she has joined another new commercial film. If everything goes well, it will be released in theaters in the country on Eid-ul-Azha. However, no further updates have been received regarding this film yet. 

Also, popular drama actress Mehzabeen Chowdhury is also busy with movies now. However, she has not been seen in spicy commercial movies yet. On the other hand, popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba has also acted in commercial movies.

Her latest Kolkata film Chaalchitro was released early this year. Jaya Ahsan, who started her career with dramas, is now a film actress. In addition, many drama actors including Tanjin Tisha, Keya Payel, Safa Kabir, Tausif Mahbub, Tanjim Saiyara Totini are waiting to make their film debut. They are waiting for time and opportunity. Their interest in cinema is also high. It is hoped that these stars will soon step into the silver world to cement their place on the big screen.
