Blue Dream Aims to Strengthen the Nation’s Apparel Sector

Blue Dream Group has unveiled a new horizon in Bangladesh's garment industry. The group operates through six entities: Blue Dream Co. Limited, Blue Dream Fabric Limited, Blue Dream Interior Design Limited, Blue Dream Leather Limited, Blue Dream Real Estate Limited, and the Asian Life Foundation (a non-profit organization).

Among these, Blue Dream Co. Limited stands as the flagship company of Blue Dream Group. It is recognized as Bangladesh's largest wholesale apparel brand, conducting business through dealers, showrooms, and depots. Currently, it boasts 1,395 dealers, depots, and showrooms within the country, and 87 showrooms, dealers, and dealer points across 53 countries worldwide. In the history of Bangladesh's apparel industry, Blue Dream pioneered the dealer, depot, and showroom system, ushering in a new revolution that offers both domestic and international entrepreneurs the opportunity to operate through these channels.

The company has been operating successfully for 16 years and has achieved ISO certification. Their mission extends beyond mere business endeavors; they aim to further strengthen Bangladesh's garment industry. Presently, they supply quality apparel to various countries, contributing positively to Bangladesh's economy.

Blue Dream sources high-quality fabrics from top suppliers in Turkey, Pakistan, China, Taiwan, and South Korea. They produce 48 types of apparel and create customized designs based on market demand, which are highly appreciated by fashion enthusiasts. Embracing environmentally friendly production practices, Blue Dream has adopted the Green Factory concept. Notably, they are the first private company in the country to establish a modern fabric testing lab, ensuring 100% safe and virus-free apparel through secure production methods.

Additionally, they offer special benefits to business partners, including free product delivery, complimentary accommodation and meals at guest houses, exemption from VAT collection from customers, and the option to return unsold products. Top sellers are rewarded with incentives such as private cars, motorcycles, overseas trips, and cash prizes.

Shopnil Chowdhury Shohag, the Managing Director of Blue Dream Group, emphasizes that the company ensures salary payments to every employee by the 1st of each month, fostering financial stability and a reliable work environment. Blue Dream is the sole company that provides monthly rations to all its staff, a practice once deemed unattainable for private companies. By implementing online order systems, digital payments, and customer care services, the company ensures swift and efficient service.

He further mentions that beyond business, Blue Dream Group operates with a sense of social responsibility. The organization allocates 20% of its profits to run three orphanages and assist the underprivileged. They also provide health insurance, medical services, ration and pension and educational scholarships for workers' children. Blue Dream's primary goal is to contribute to the nation's economic development and to further establish Bangladesh's apparel industry in the international market. Moreover, they aim to cultivate millions of entrepreneurs within the country and to remain a beloved brand in people's hearts for generations.
