TBT DESK: The American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) hosted its prestigious Networking Evening (followed by Iftar) on Wednesday at the Sheraton Banani.
Lieutenant General (Retd) Abdul Hafiz, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser (Defence and National Solidarity Development), was present at the function it was attended by Megan Bouldin, deputy chief of Mission along with other senior officials from the US Embassy Dhaka.
The event also saw the participation of senior officials from various key government bodies, including the Chief Advisor's Office, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), and other key organisations.
AmCham President Syed Ershad Ahmed, Treasurer Al-Mamun M Rashel, and Executive Committee Members, Rashed Mujib Noman, Md Moinul Huq, Mirza Shajib Raihan, and Executive Director Chowdhury Kaiser Mohammad Riyadh, warmly welcomed the guests.

AmCham has served as a key platform for dialogue, bridging the US business community and the Bangladeshi government for nearly 30 years.
This Networking Evening highlights the chamber's commitment to fostering investment, innovation, and sustainable growth, reinforcing Bangladesh's appeal as a top investment destination in South Asia.
The event will promote networking opportunities to strengthen US-Bangladesh trade relations and explore collaborations for further business growth, according to a press release.
