Sultana Yesmin Layla has been honored as the Best Lalon Singer at the prestigious Dhallywood Film &Music Award 2024. The award ceremony, held in New York on January 18, was a grand celebration of talent, recognizing outstanding contributions in film and music.This recognition highlights her exceptional artistry in preserving and promoting Lalon's timeless music.

The 24th edition of the Dhallywood Awards, organized by Showtime Music and powered by Rivertel, honored 27 artists and professionals from Bangladesh and beyond. The event took place at the Queens Theatre in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, with a host of renowned artists, filmmakers, and music professionals attending.

Apart from Sultana Yesmin Layla, several other artists were recognized for their contributions. Ananya Yasmin Ankon and Bindu Kona won the Best Folk Singer award, while Protik Hasan and Selim Chowdhury received special awards for their contributions to music. Amit Hasan was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his illustrious career.
