BSMRSTU teacher's Passport, Laptop stolen in Dhaka

DHAKA: A bag belonging to Md. Rajib Hossain was stolen from the Greenline Paribahan bus counter 4 in Arambagh, Dhaka, around 11:30 pm on January 18.

He filed a formal complaint with Motijheel Police Station on January 19. Investigating Officer Md. Anisur Rahman confirmed that efforts are underway to recover the stolen items and apprehend the culprit.

Md. Rajib is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Disaster Management at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU).

In the complaint filed at the police station, he stated that his bag was stolen from the Greenline Paribahan bus counter. The stolen bag contained several valuable items, including his passport, laptop, bank cards, cash, pen drive, ear pods, power bank, and other essentials.

CCTV footage from the bus counter showed an unidentified individual stealing the bag and fleeing the scene.
