AWC hosts scientific health seminar

The American Wellness Center (AWC) organized a health seminar on Monday at Green Garden,
Dhanmondi with the theme ‘Preventive Healthcare through Natural Remedies: Focusing on Diet
and Lifestyle’. The event was presided over by AWC Chairman Mohammad Mahbubul Haque
and graced by Chief Guest Mohammad Saidur Rahman, Secretary of the Health Services
Division. Prof. Dr. M. Mojibul Haque, Consultant at The Center of Integrative Medicine LLC, USA,
delivered the keynote address, highlighting the role of diet and lifestyle changes in preventing
chronic diseases. The event also featured Special Guests Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abu Jafar,
Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services, and Dr. Muhammad Mustafizur
Rahman, Joint Secretary of the Health Services Division.
With over 600 attendees, including 15 prominent figures from various sectors, the seminar saw
enthusiastic participation from healthcare professionals, students, and community members.
The program was anchored by Mohammad Imtiaj, Adviser of AWC. The seminar included
presentations and a lively Q&A session, focusing on actionable steps to promote health and
wellness. AWC aims to host similar events in the future to raise awareness about preventive
healthcare and natural remedies.
