Prof Yunus calls for redesigning global healthcare system

Chief Adviser and 2006 Nobel Peace Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus today called for redesigning the global healthcare system and pharmaceutical companies.
 
He made the call while speaking at a sidelines event on health services at the COP29 climate conference in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, according to a message received in Dhaka.
 
Earlier in the day, Prof Yunus delivered his address at the opening session of the World Leaders Climate Action Summit at COP29.
 
Besides, he spoke at a meeting with the Social Business Group on the sidelines of the global climate meet today.
